Burpham’s Conservative Campaigner
Christian served as Ward Councillor for Burpham on Guildford Borough Council between May 2011 and May 2019. "Burpham continues to face many challenges in the coming years and I look forward to continuing to assist residents where possible."
As a passionate believer in the Union, I have travelled to Scotland this week to help the No campaign in the Scottish referendum. Together, the constituent parts of the UK punch well above their weight on the world stage and have a proud history of achievement in so many many fields. I hope our family of nations stays together for many years to come. (Photo with Mike and Debbie from Better Together, campaigning in Edinburgh).

To mark the centenary of the start of World War I, a number of events have been taking place in Burpham and Guildford to remember the contribution made by Surrey residents to the war effort, including a service at Guildford Cathedral and floral tributes at St.Luke’s Church. Further information on how Burpham is commemorating the start of the war can be found at Burpham 1914.
In Guildford there is an Centenary exhibition of war memorabilia on display, including items belonging to Surrey service personnel, which is free of charge and open until the end of August.
