Burpham’s Conservative Campaigner
Christian served as Ward Councillor for Burpham on Guildford Borough Council between May 2011 and May 2019. "Burpham continues to face many challenges in the coming years and I look forward to continuing to assist residents where possible."
After three years of hard work by local volunteers Guildford Borough Council last night (12th April 2016) formally made the Burpham Neighbourhood Plan part of the Development Plan. The Plan is the first of its kind in Guildford and will now be used by the Council to determine planning applications in the Ward. Adoption of the plan followes a 92% yes vote in a local referendum held in February. Further details on the plan can be found on the Burpham Neighbourhood Forum website here.
Guildford voters were keen to find out more from the Guildford Vote Leave team today (9th April 2016) about the reasons we should leave the EU. People from all walks of life visited our stall on North Street to collect literature and talk through the issues with us. There are just 11 weeks to go until the vote on 23rd June. It’s time to regain control: Its’s time to leave.
Following the announcement that a referendum will be held in June, I am actively campaigning for Britain to leave the EU. As the Lead Co-ordinator in Guildford for the Vote Leave campaign I and working with other likeminded Conservatives and people from other political parties, to regain control of our Country from the Institions of the EU.
Over the past four decades the common market has developed into a political State, exercising vast influence over our national life and economy, with no mandate from the British people to do so.
It’s time to leave. Vote leave and regain control.
