Guildford Borough Council, in conjunction with Surrey County Council, is currently consulting on parking changes in Burpham.

Kingpost Parade and areas in and around Burpham Lane are the subject of the current proposals.

Line painting crews have been busy painting yellow lines along half of Burpham Lane this week, on both sides of the road (London Road end to just after The Paddocks). This brings into effect parking restrictions on this stretch of the road, ahead of the opening of the new Aldi store, likely to be 5th November. I’ll continue to monitor the implications of these new restrictions, both in terms of parking occurring elsewhere and speeding along Burpham Lane.
